Fort Worth. He served as Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. |

Dr. Bohmfalk attended Rice University and received
his medical degree from University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School
at Dallas. He completed his internship and residency at John Peter Smith
Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.

received his doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed
his internship and residency at the Memorial Medical Center in Corpus
Christi. |

Ms. Speer is a Physician Assistant licensed by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners. She attended Northlake College in Irving, where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, School of Allied Health Sciences and has worked in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine practices in Louisiana and Texas for the past fifteen years. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and her professional experience includes women's health, adult and pediatric medicine as well as general care. In her free time, she enjoys involvement in her church retreats, holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys bicycling and hiking with her family. Joan, her husband, Darrin, and their children reside in Georgetown. |

Dr. Berg is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of McMurry College
in Abilene and received his doctorate from the University of Texas Health
Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his internship and residency
at Thompson Strategic Hospital, where he was Chief Resident in Family
Medicine. Dr. Berg served in the U.S. Air Force as Chief of Family Medicine
at the 7th Medical Group Hospital, Dyess AFB. |

Julia Pickel is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She attended Southwestern University, and graduated with High Honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is licensed by the Texas and Arizona State Medical Boards. Julia is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. Her work experience includes family practice, pediatrics and women's health care in Texas and Arizona. |

Ms. Jeter-Friggle is a Physician Assistant licensed by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners. She attended Oklahoma Christian University and received her Masters of Health Sciences degree with honors from the University of Oklahoma. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Physicians Assistants and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her professional experience includes general primary care, adult medicine, family practice, obstetrics and gynecology. Amy and her husband, Scott, have a son and enjoy spending weekends with family and their dogs, Marley and Hank. In her free time, she enjoys weight training, reading, and yoga. |

Dr. Kay In, a summa cum laude graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, received her masters degree from University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at the Austin Medical Education Program where she also served as a Chief Resident. She completed an obstetrics fellowship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin.

Physician Assistants Physician Assistants, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners, are incorporated into our family medical group to provide an additional level of high quality, accessible and cost-effective patient care for Georgetown Medical Center Clinic's growing medical practice. Physician Assistant's academic curriculum includes medical sciences, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, physical diagnosis and pharmacology with clinical experience in such areas as family practice, pediatrics, geriatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, surgery and internal medicine. PAs are required to pass a national certification examination and periodic reexaminations and receive continuing general and specialty medical education and obtain re-certification every two years. |
