Richard W. Pearce, M.D.

Dr. Pearce received his medical degree from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans. He completed his internship at Charity Hospital of New Orleans and residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. He served as Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Pearce specializes in Family Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the Williamson County Medical Society.
Dr. Pearce and his wife Barbara have two daughters. His special interests include hunting, fishing and gardening.

Thomas C. Bohmfalk, M.D.

Dr. Bohmfalk attended Rice University and received his medical degree from University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He completed his internship and residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Bohmfalk specializes in Family Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, the Christian Medical and Dental Society, the Williamson County Medical Society and has been a member of the Georgetown Medical Center staff for eighteen years.

Dr. Bohmfalk and his wife Helen have two children. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, running, and training his dog, Rubye. Dr. Bohmfalk is an elder in his church, teaches weekly Bible studies, and makes annual missionary trips to bring medical care to remote villages deep in Mexico.

J. Greg Willis, M.D.

Dr. Willis graduated from Southwestern University and received his doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the Memorial Medical Center in Corpus Christi.
Dr. Willis is a specialist in Family Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Medical Association, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has served as president of the Williamson County Medical Society, as well as President of Medical Staff and Chairman of departments of Georgetown Hospital.
Dr. Willis and his wife, Lynn, have two children. In his free time, Dr. Willis enjoys cycling, swimming, running and fishing.

Joan Speer, P.A.-C.

Ms. Speer is a Physician Assistant licensed by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners. She attended Northlake College in Irving, where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, School of Allied Health Sciences and has worked in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine practices in Louisiana and Texas for the past fifteen years. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and her professional experience includes women's health, adult and pediatric medicine as well as general care. In her free time, she enjoys involvement in her church retreats, holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys bicycling and hiking with her family. Joan, her husband, Darrin, and their children reside in Georgetown.

Donald (Trey) Cole, III, M.D.

Dr. Cole graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and received his doctorate from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He completed his Family Practice Residency at Memorial Hospital Southwest in Houston.
Dr. Cole specializes in Family Medicine and is Board Certified with the American Board of Family Practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Cole enjoys travel, skiing, mountain biking, scuba and other outdoor activities. He and his wife, Dr. Teresa Boehm, and children make their home in Georgetown.

L. Jim Donovan, M.D.

Dr. Donovan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his internship and residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
Dr. Donovan specializes in Family Medicine and is Board Certified with the American Board of Family Practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Medical Association, and the Williamson County Medical Society. His special interests include family-centered obstetrics and he currently serves on the Task Force on Obstetrics of the Texas Association of Family Physicians. He has served as Medical Staff President and Chief of the OB/PEDI Department of the Georgetown Hospital. He is also Aviation Medical Examiner for Williamson County.
Dr. Donovan and his wife Carol have two children. His hobbies include flying, golf and gardening.

Daniel S. Voss, M.D.

Dr. Voss received his undergraduate training at Texas A&M University and his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at the John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
Dr. Voss is a specialist in Family Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, the Williamson County Medical Society and the Christian Medical and Dental Society. His special interests include family-centered Obstetrics and Pediatrics.
Dr. Voss, his wife, Kathy and their children reside near Georgetown. Dr. Voss takes an active role in home-schooling his children and in his local church body. His hobbies include tennis, skiing, hunting and fishing.

Paul A. Berg, M.D.

Dr. Berg is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of McMurry College in Abilene and received his doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his internship and residency at Thompson Strategic Hospital, where he was Chief Resident in Family Medicine. Dr. Berg served in the U.S. Air Force as Chief of Family Medicine at the 7th Medical Group Hospital, Dyess AFB.
Dr. Berg is a specialist in Family Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. His special interests include family medicine and Ambulatory Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Berg, his wife, Dr. Pamela Evans-Berg, and their children reside in Georgetown. In his free time, Dr. Berg enjoys basketball, golf, music and spending time with family activities.

Julia L. Pickel, P.A.-C

Julia Pickel is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She attended Southwestern University, and graduated with High Honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is licensed by the Texas and Arizona State Medical Boards. Julia is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. Her work experience includes family practice, pediatrics and women's health care in Texas and Arizona.
She resides in Georgetown with her husband, Mike and their three children. Julia enjoys cooking, reading, hiking and spending time with family activities .

Amy Jeter-Friggle, P.A.-C

Ms. Jeter-Friggle is a Physician Assistant licensed by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners. She attended Oklahoma Christian University and received her Masters of Health Sciences degree with honors from the University of Oklahoma. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Physicians Assistants and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her professional experience includes general primary care, adult medicine, family practice, obstetrics and gynecology. Amy and her husband, Scott, have a son and enjoy spending weekends with family and their dogs, Marley and Hank. In her free time, she enjoys weight training, reading, and yoga.

Kay In, M.D.

Dr. Kay In, a summa cum laude graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, received her masters degree from University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at the Austin Medical Education Program where she also served as a Chief Resident. She completed an obstetrics fellowship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin.
Dr. In is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, and Travis County Medical Society. She specializes in Family Medicine, and her special interests include family-centered obstetrics and women’s health. She is certified with the American Board of Family Practice.
Dr. In and her husband, Chanhee, have two children and live near Georgetown. Her interests outside of medicine include playing piano, cooking, reading and spending time with family activities.

Physician Assistants

Physician Assistants, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners, are incorporated into our family medical group to provide an additional level of high quality, accessible and cost-effective patient care for Georgetown Medical Center Clinic's growing medical practice. Physician Assistant's academic curriculum includes medical sciences, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, physical diagnosis and pharmacology with clinical experience in such areas as family practice, pediatrics, geriatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, surgery and internal medicine. PAs are required to pass a national certification examination and periodic reexaminations and receive continuing general and specialty medical education and obtain re-certification every two years.
