Is a referral required?
Although other community physicians refer many patients to our practice, a referral is not required. However, we ask that you call ahead to schedule a new patient appointment.

How do I choose a physician?
Information on each physician's education and training can be reviewed on this website. Our staff can also help guide your choice, based on your individual medical needs and preferences. You may either request assistance by email request (CONTACT US section of this website) or call us at (512) 930-4593 and we'll be happy to help you.

Which physician is part of my managed care network?
All our physicians are credentialed with the same HMO and PPO networks to provide cross-coverage when necessary for our patients. A list of the major insurance plans can be found on this website (Insurance Plans/First Time Visit). However, insurance companies frequently change their contracts, so be sure to provide your insurance information to our Patient Representatives when you make an appointment.

Can you answer my medical questions on this site?
We cannot offer medical advice about personal health concerns over the Internet. If you have a medical concern, please call our office and one of our medical staff will assist you.

How long will I wait to get an appointment?
Appointment availability depends on the nature and urgency of the medical problem, as well as overall needs. Urgent conditions typically receive same-day appointments, either with the physician or physician's assistant. Routine appointments are made between 1 and 4 days, depending on the condition. Annual physicals are often scheduled several weeks in advance.

What if I have an urgent issue?
If you have an urgent problem, medical or otherwise, please tell the Clinic operator and your call will receive priority handling. However, in the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call 911.

What hospital do the Clinic physicians use?
All our physicians admit exclusively to nearby Georgetown (Hospital) Healthcare System. They have referral relationships with specialists throughout the Central Texas area, including the Seton Physician Hospital Network, limited only by your insurance plan restrictions.
